NEW - Recycling Depot Container
2330 Egremont Drive
In collaboration with Bluewater Recycling Association the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe now has a new service available for our residents
A large recycling depot container has been placed on the west side of the Public Works Building at 2330 Egremont Drive for depositing oversized recycling materials that would not otherwise fit in the wheelie bins.
Please see the attached flyer for items that can be placed in the recycling container.
CONTROLLED BURNS REMINDER
If you will be having an open burn, such as burning bush, please notify the Adelaide Metcalfe Fire Department at 519-247-3333 or anoordhof@adelaidemetcalfe.on.ca AND Fire Dispatch at 519-245-1300, 1-844-220-1300 or firedispatch@scps.on.ca prior to burning to ensure the Fire Departmnent is not dispatched to your burn at your expense.
Contact the Adelaide Metcalfe Fire Department and Fire Dispatch to notify when the burn has been completed.
Property Taxes are due yearly.
Taxes are due on the following dates in 2021:
- February 26
- May 31
- August 31
- November 30
The Township offers a variety of payment methods: cash, cheque and debit are available at the office, as well as telepayment through your bank and online banking. The Township also offers Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP). There are two (2) options….monthly or on the due date. If it’s outside office hours and you need to drop a payment off, no problem!! The Township has a drop box beside the door. Your choice for your convenience!
You can receive your Property Tax bill electronically! Sign up now and you will be able to have access to your 2021 and subsequent tax bills. Sign up for tax notices to be emailed.

SCHOOL ROAD LANDFILL will be open Saturday, April 10, 2021 and Saturday, April 24, 2021
This is a reminder that the landfill will be open the 2nd and last Saturday of each month from March to November from 8 a.m-4 p.m. Please pay by cash, cheque or debit - credit cards are not accepted
